The attitude of Igor Paixao when he left in the last minutes of the match against Troyes (0-2) sparked strong

RMC consultant Kevin Diaz strongly criticized Olympique de Marseille winger Igor Paixao for his behavior during OM's 2-0 win over Troyes. Paixao was substituted in the 88th minute for Faris Moumbagna and visibly snubbed head coach Bruno Genesio's outstretched hand as he walked off the pitch. Diaz labeled the attitude "unacceptable" for an experienced leader.
Genesio opted to downplay the incident after the match, attributing Paixao's visible frustration to disappointment with his performance. The Brazilian winger, who cost Marseille 35 million euros in 2025, has registered only one assist so far this season despite the club rejecting major summer bids to keep him.
