Anthony Gordon netted his first goal as a Barcelona player after returning from the international break - and he still couldn't avoid certain digs in the Spanish media

Anthony Gordon scored his first goal for Barcelona in a 3-0 victory against Getafe, finding the net within two minutes of kickoff. Despite the breakthrough goal, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo described summer signings Gordon and Gabriel Jesus as not being "dazzling stars," which Tom Sunderland characterizes as a potential minor dig despite praise for Barca's recruitment.
Other Spanish outlets offered stronger praise for Gordon's performance and recent resurgence. Madrid-based daily AS noted Gordon returned from the England camp with improved confidence, while Marca awarded him a nine-out-of-10 rating, praising him alongside teammates Gabriel Jesus and Karim Adeyemi as Hansi Flick's side maintained an eight-match winning streak.
