Kayla Harrison believes her résumé surpasses Ronda Rousey’s.
Kayla Harrison stated on the "Deep Waters" podcast that she believes she is better than Ronda Rousey and would defeat her in her prime. While acknowledging Rousey's impact on women's mixed martial arts, Harrison questioned the level of competition Rousey faced during her dominant championship run.
Harrison recalled losing twice to Rousey in judo when she was 15 years old, but emphasized her superior accolades, including two Olympic gold medals. The reigning UFC bantamweight champion is currently scheduled to defend her belt against Amanda Nunes at UFC 334 on November 14.
