Nucks lose again on the road, but PK didn't give up a goal against. Streak Broken! This was a winnable game for the Canucks. Almost. Or at least an almost tie game. A measly loser point would certainly have taken…

The Vancouver Canucks suffered a 3-2 road defeat against the New York Islanders. After falling behind 2-0 in the first period, Vancouver leveled the score in the second period with goals from Kiefer Sherwood and Brock Boeser on the power play. However, the Islanders regained the lead in the third period, securing the victory after a late Canucks goal was ruled to have crossed the line after time expired.
Despite the defeat, Vancouver's penalty kill successfully prevented an opponent power-play goal for the first time this season, ending a seven-game streak. Goaltender Arturs Silovs, referred to as Merri, posted a .921 save percentage as the Canucks were outshot 19-8 during the final period.
