Birmingham City defeated Preston 4-0 on Tuesday night and Patrick Roberts was instrumental
Patrick Roberts has embraced his tactical role at Birmingham City after manager Chris Davies started him in a 4-0 win against Preston North End at St Andrew’s. Brought into the lineup to break down Preston's defensive low block, Roberts provided the assist for Liam Millar’s opening goal before August Priske scored twice and Demarai Gray added a fourth.
Roberts noted that squad rotation and healthy competition among wingers Carlos Vicente, Demarai Gray, Liam Millar, and himself have driven the team's form. The victory secured consecutive wins for Birmingham City, lifting the club to third place in the Championship.
