George Russell has revealed when he plans to take more F1 penalty pain.

Mercedes driver George Russell has revealed that he plans to take his next Formula 1 grid penalty at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November. Russell already started from the back of the grid in Singapore after exceeding his season's power unit allocation, which was triggered by a mechanical failure earlier in the year. Although Mercedes was widely expected to introduce an upgraded engine at the United States Grand Prix, Russell stated the team prefers to delay the change to a track that offers easier overtaking opportunities.
With only six rounds remaining, Russell trails Mercedes teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli by 102 points in the drivers' championship, effectively ending his title contention. Russell explained that his primary focus for the remainder of the season is helping Mercedes resolve performance issues with their recent upgrade package while competing against a resurgent Red Bull team.
