The Charlotte Roval is gone, but should NASCAR's postseason Chase feature a road course race? Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick and Steve Letarte think so.

NASCAR drivers and analysts have voiced their desire to retain a road course in the postseason Chase following the removal of the Charlotte Roval. Speedway Motorsports returned the fall race to Charlotte Motor Speedway's traditional oval layout, leaving the postseason schedule without a road course event.
Competitors including Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, and broadcaster Steve Letarte argued that the Chase should test drivers across every track style. In response to scheduling needs, NASCAR plans to move Watkins Glen into the postseason Chase lineup for the 2027 season.
