Umps Miller, Wegner named crew chiefs for ALCS, NLCS

Bill Miller and Mark Wegner have been named crew chiefs for the 2026 League Championship Series, Major League Baseball announced. Miller will lead the seven-man umpiring crew for the ALCS between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians, marking his 10th LCS appearance. Wegner will serve as crew chief for the NLCS matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers, marking his sixth career LCS.

First-time LCS umpires Nestor Ceja and Edwin Moscoso will handle home-plate duties for the opening games of the ALCS and NLCS, respectively. Major League Baseball also designated Erich Bacchus, Lance Barksdale, and Adam Beck as the replay review umpires based at the league office in New York.
