Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward stated that the team must prioritize improving their tackling effort and efficiency to fix their defensive issues. Speaking to reporters following a difficult performance last Thursday, Heyward noted that allowing yards after contact has prevented the unit from getting off the field on critical downs.

Heyward also highlighted back-end miscues during road games, emphasizing that corrections must begin up front.
