FIFA President Gianni Infantino will propose more than doubling funding to every national association ahead of his re-election campaign. Under the proposal submitted to the FIFA Council in Zurich, each of the 211 member nations will be offered an additional £11.3 million over four years, on top of the £7.5 million they currently receive.
The initiative will draw approximately £2.65 billion from FIFA's £4.5 billion cash reserves following the 2026 World Cup. The funds are earmarked for operational expenses, specific developmental projects, and women's and youth football, as Infantino aims to secure a third presidential term unopposed.
