Lowdown of Leicester City's takeover reports as King Power wait for bids from potential buyers

Leicester City's owners, the Srivaddhanaprabha family, have reportedly set a new deadline of Friday, October 16, for prospective bidders to submit offers for the club. Working alongside global investment bank Citigroup, the owners are initially seeking around $300m (£222m) for their full portfolio of assets via a sales document titled 'Project Lineup.' However, market experts anticipate the final deal value could land closer to £148m following recent financial losses and competitive drops.
The sales package includes the King Power Stadium, the Seagrave training facility, Leicester City Women, and Belgian sister club OH Leuven. Meanwhile, Leicester City representatives addressed supporter concerns during a recent Fan Advisory Board meeting, reiterating that the ownership continues to provide steady financial support. Director of football Jon Rudkin and manager Russell Martin also both publicly reaffirmed Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha's ongoing commitment to the club.
