Darko Rajakovic didn’t mind the rookie’s foul trouble in his Raptors debut.

Toronto Raptors rookie Allen Graves made his preseason debut against the New York Knicks, tallying five points, three rebounds, and one steal across 15 minutes. Despite Graves committing four personal fouls, head coach Darko Rajakovic praised the rookie's aggressive defensive effort and stated that he loved the fouls he accumulated during the game.
Writer Elaine Blum notes that Graves may face a developmental curve against NBA-level athleticism, but his frontcourt defense and three-point willingness fit Toronto's team identity. Graves is expected to receive further preseason opportunities against the Knicks and Detroit Pistons to solidify a rotational role behind established players.
