Sanders seemed close to becoming Cleveland's QB1 after Deshaun Watson produced a stinker in the club's 34-10 Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. However, Watson later helped the Browns earn three consecutive wins.
Cleveland Browns backup quarterback Shedeur Sanders has officially signed with Adie von Gontard of Young Money APAA Sports for representation. The move comes despite reports indicating the Browns are committed to Sanders' long-term development rather than seeking a trade before the November 10 deadline.
The agency signing has prompted speculation regarding Sanders' future, drawing parallels to Marvin Harrison Jr.'s agent hire ahead of his trade to Houston. Meanwhile, starting quarterback Deshaun Watson remains set to start for the 3-2 Browns following three consecutive victories.
