Sri Lanka hunted down Pakistan's total of 168 for 8 with 17 balls and eight wickets to spare

Kusal Mendis scored an unbeaten 87 off 48 balls to guide Sri Lanka to an eight-wicket victory over Pakistan in the third and final T20I. Sri Lanka successfully chased down Pakistan's target of 168 for 8 with 17 balls to spare, finishing on 172 for 2 to earn a consolation win in the series.
Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan hit 76 off 47 deliveries, but Sri Lanka's bowling attack, led by Dasun Shanaka's 3 for 21 and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth's tight 1 for 23, restricted the remaining lineup. In the chase, Mendis formed substantial partnerships with Sineth Jayawardena, who made 38, and Kamindu Mendis, who ended unbeaten on 40.
