Pep Guardiola has returned to Man City for the first time since his farewell in the summer, with his old club marooned in the biggest scandal in English football history.

Pep Guardiola returned to the Etihad Stadium for the first time since departing Manchester City, attending Wednesday's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain. Guardiola sat in the directors' box close to chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak and chief executive Ferran Soriano. His visit followed a public message of support for the club after the Premier League found City guilty of the vast majority of their 115 charges.
Now managed by Enzo Maresca, City have launched an appeal while denying any wrongdoing. Guardiola voiced his ongoing backing on Instagram, stating he will always stand behind the club, staff, and supporters. Fans rallied behind the team with a pre-match display, following a recent 3-0 victory against Liverpool at Anfield.
