Mourinho: ‘Real Madrid impossible to stop, Roma players were dead’ for 4-3 defeat

Jose Mourinho praised Real Madrid's relentless finish after his side mounted a dramatic comeback to defeat AS Roma 4-3 in the UEFA Champions League. Returning to the Stadio Olimpico, Mourinho saw Madrid overturn a 3-1 deficit in the final minutes of the match. The manager asserted that Madrid were impossible to stop during the closing stages, claiming Roma's exhausted players could no longer keep pace with his team's attacking intensity.

Roma established their lead through a Donyell Malen brace and a goal from Marten de Roon. However, late strikes from Carlos Espi, Endrick, and Antonio Rudiger sealed Madrid's turnaround from corner kicks. Mourinho also dismissed any chance of Roma signing Endrick on loan in January.
