Derby County faced QPR this evening as they looked for an overdue win in the Championship but a dismal first half handed QPR the victory

Derbyshire Live rated Derby County's players following a heavy 4-1 Championship defeat against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road. Sondre Langas exited with an injury just 10 minutes in, forcing right-back Ryan Nyambe into central defense. Alfie Lloyd opened the scoring for QPR, followed by a Nicolas Madsen penalty and a Harvey Vale finish to build a commanding first-half advantage.
QPR added a fourth goal when Paul Smyth's strike deflected off Alex Mowatt into the net, before Lars-Jorgen Salvesen scored a late consolation for Derby. Assessing the performance, writer Leigh Curtis awarded low ratings across the squad, remarking that the defending was far below the standard required.
