All roads lead to West Wyalong’s cup meeting this Sunday

West Wyalong Harness Racing Club is set to stage its annual cup meeting this Sunday in New South Wales with high expectations for a successful event. The bumper ten-event card has attracted nearly 200 nominations from across the Central West, Bathurst, and Riverina regions. The feature cup race carries a purse of just under $20,000 and features New Zealand import Captain Moonlite making his Australian debut for trainer Russell Jack.

Club official Rodney Lemon highlighted that continuous infrastructure upgrades and the dedication of a passionate volunteer committee have sustained the venue. West Wyalong's 804-meter cracker dust circuit will host family-friendly festivities alongside competitive racing, followed by a Waratah heat scheduled for next Sunday.
