In its latest bankruptcy hearing, LIV Golf's attorneys gave a timeline for when the league will know its future — and raised concerns.

During a Chapter 11 bankruptcy hearing on Wednesday, LIV Golf attorney Robert Fitzgerald stated that the league anticipates deciding by the end of the month whether it will move forward with a 2.0 version or wind down operations. Judge Michael B. Kaplan approved a restructuring support agreement between LIV Golf and BC Partners Global, which includes $300 million in financing and grants players a 52.5 percent ownership stake.
Kaplan also approved LIV Golf's motion to reject the existing contracts of 19 players, including Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson, to negotiate terms for LIV 2.0. Meanwhile, LIV accused the DP World Tour of player interference following CEO Guy Kinnings' announcement of a 2027 ban on LIV golfers, which Judge Kaplan acknowledged raises concerns.
