Dafydd Jenkins thinks the trend for Wales' top players moving across the bridge will have a positive effect in the game back home

Exeter Chiefs lock Dafydd Jenkins believes that the growing exodus of Wales internationals to the English Premiership will ultimately benefit Welsh rugby. Speaking after high-profile moves by Jac Morgan, Dewi Lake, and Aaron Wainwright to English clubs, Jenkins highlighted that facing higher-standard competition sharpens players' skills while simultaneously opening up valuable developmental pathways for emerging talent within the Welsh regions.
Jenkins, who has started all three Premiership matches for Exeter this season, also reflected on recovering from shoulder surgery that ruled him out of Wales' summer fixtures. He noted that Wales head coach Steve Tandy and medical staff supported his rehabilitation ahead of a critical upcoming season featuring the World Cup.
