Matthew Breetzke has been brought into South Africa's 17-man squad

Tristan Stubbs has been dropped from South Africa's squad ahead of the second Test against Australia in Gqeberha following a first-Test defeat in Durban. Head coach Shukri Conrad confirmed that Matthew Breetzke has been added to the 17-man squad in his place, while Ryan Rickelton will take over wicketkeeping duties.
With Rickelton taking the gloves, Kyle Verreynne is unlikely to make the starting lineup, and team management is weighing whether Rickelton will continue opening the batting or move down the order. Meanwhile, fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is expected to be fit to play after recovering from a hamstring niggle.
