Denver Nuggets guard Julian Strawther is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday after suffering a left leg injury against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Head coach David Adelman confirmed the medical update following the preseason game, where Strawther landed awkwardly during the third quarter.
Strawther, a 2023 first-round pick, has had a strong preseason, averaging 13.2 points per game while competing for regular rotation minutes. He remains eligible for a rookie scale extension until October 19, though a new deal was not considered likely prior to the injury.
