Rory McIlroy's outfit choice at the DP World India Championship made quite an impact among players and fans alike.

Rory McIlroy admitted he made a mistake by attempting to copy Tommy Fleetwood's baggy trouser style at the DP World India Championship in Delhi. The Northern Irishman switched from his usual fitted slacks due to the heat, which drew jokes from fellow golfers Shane Lowry and Justin Rose. Speaking on a live stream of The Locker Room with Sir Nick Faldo, McIlroy conceded that the synthetic pants fit awkwardly and were hard to tailor.
McIlroy revealed that he failed to pack his standard golf trousers, leaving him with only the baggy pair for the week. In response, Fleetwood joked that he would gladly swap his signature baggy trousers for several major championship titles. Ahead of the tournament, McIlroy expressed his delight at returning to compete in India.
