Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has referenced Celtic's heavy defeat against LASK as a cautionary example ahead of his side's Champions League match in Austria. Speaking prior to Wednesday's fixture, Iraola warned that away games in Europe are difficult and emphasized the need to respect the Austrian champions despite Liverpool being favorites.
Celtic suffered a 5-1 defeat in Linz back in August during European qualifiers. While LASK has struggled in recent matches with defeats to AEK Athens and Rapid Vienna, Iraola stated that Liverpool must perform well to avoid a similar slip-up.
