McLaren CEO Zak Brown has revealed that both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were handed a stern warning after their last-lap collision in the Formula 1 Sprint Race in Singapore.

McLaren CEO Zak Brown revealed that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri received a stern warning after colliding on the final lap of the Singapore Grand Prix Sprint Race. Norris attempted an inside overtake on Piastri at Turn 5 on a partly damp track, causing both cars to spin. Brown told Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle that the drivers were given a direct order never to repeat the incident.
The collision cost McLaren eight World Championship points amid a tight Constructors' Championship battle against Ferrari and Red Bull. Brown labeled the result unnecessary during a high-pressure phase of the season, though he noted that the team would learn from the mistakes. In the main Singapore Grand Prix, Norris and Piastri recovered to finish fourth and fifth respectively.
