One-time Premier League title winners Leicester City should not be "anywhere near" the relegation zone in League One, says striker Emil Riis.
Leicester City forward Emil Riis stated that the club should not be anywhere near the League One relegation zone following a difficult start to the campaign. Despite entering the season as promotion favorites after back-to-back relegations, the Foxes sit just one point above the bottom four with only two wins from their opening eight matches.
Riis, who leads Leicester with four goals this term after arriving in a summer rebuild, expressed optimism that Russell Martin's side can recover. He emphasized that belief, fighting spirit, and hard work will be necessary to turn their fortunes around by the end of the season.
