On Wednesday evening, Anthony Edwards and his team aired the second annual Believe That Awards (BTA) on YouTube. For those of you concerned about the timing, this was prerecorded. Don’t worry, Ant did not leave the Wolves’ only home preseason…
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards delivered an aggressive warning to opposing teams during the second annual Believe That Awards broadcast on YouTube. Speaking alongside teammates Jaden McDaniels and LaMelo Ball, Edwards stated that the Timberwolves will bring intense physicality on the road, declaring that they will aggressively foul opponents and avoid any friendly conduct across the league.
The prerecorded comedic award show, produced by Edwards' media company Three Fifths Media, featured various humorous categories and guest appearances from figures including Justin Bieber, Michael B. Jordan, and Coco Gauff. Edwards made his fiery declaration after McDaniels compared Ball's addition to Magic Johnson, prompting writer Leo Sun to liken the outburst to a Kevin Garnett-inspired tirade.
