In an ideal world, by now the Lakers would’ve already gotten at least one look at what their team would look like with close to their full roster available. But that’s not the situation the Lakers find themselves in entering…

The Los Angeles Lakers are focusing on defensive rebounding and ball security ahead of Friday's preseason finale against the Denver Nuggets. Head coach JJ Redick targeted both issues in practice after the team recorded the third-worst defensive rebounding rate and second-worst turnover rate in the preseason, committing 30 turnovers against the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers could feature their preferred starting lineup as Ziaire Williams and Luka Doncic returned to full practice participation on Thursday. Guard Quentin Grimes noted that turnovers should decline once teammates build chemistry and rhythm on the court.
