Kasey Kahne has detailed Spire Motorsports' ambitious vision for his full-time return to NASCAR competition in 2027. Speaking on the "Rubbin' Is Racing" podcast, the 18-time Cup Series race winner revealed that conversations with Spire co-owner Jeff Dickerson focused on building immediate speed and aiming to become the best team in the NASCAR Truck Series. Kahne will drive the No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST starting with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.
Kahne acknowledged that Spire also values his veteran experience to provide broader organizational insight alongside competing for a title.
