Mourinho: “The cat is out of the bag with the federation”

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho criticized the football federation after learning just two hours before kickoff that Vinícius Júnior faced a four-match ban. Speaking after Real Madrid's 4-3 Champions League victory over AS Roma, Mourinho expressed anger over the timing of the announcement while the team was traveling to the stadium, claiming that authorities were acting without shame.

Addressing the match itself, Mourinho acknowledged that Gian Piero Gasperini's Roma side outplayed Madrid in the first half before his team mounted a courageous second-half comeback. The victory gave Real Madrid six points from their opening two Champions League matches, having previously defeated Inter Milan.
