Derby County's injury problems continue to mount as the Rams face another major problem in defence after Langas was substituted last night

Derby County defender Sondre Langas has undergone surgery and is expected to be sidelined for 12 to 13 weeks with a groin injury. Manager John Eustace confirmed Langas had scans and consulted a surgeon after sustaining the injury just 10 minutes into Derby's Championship match against QPR.
The setback leaves Dion Sanderson as Derby's only fit senior center-back ahead of their upcoming match against Stoke City. With eight defenders currently injured, Eustace indicated that the club may need to consider signing a free agent to ease the defensive crisis.
