European side launch new tartan strip with video shot in Stranraer

Dutch club Twente Enschede have launched a new tartan kit to celebrate their long-standing historical connections with Scotland. The Eredivisie side filmed an announcement video in Stranraer featuring former player Rob McKinnon, and the newly revealed kit quickly sold out following its release.
The club highlighted past Scottish players such as McKinnon and Scott Booth, alongside former Aberdeen and Rangers goalkeeper Theo Snelders, as key influences behind the cross-cultural relationship. Twente also noted their unique connection to the Stranraer-based supporters group, known as the Stranraer Tukker Clan.
