The Philadelphia 76ers have officially named Wawa as the team's official hoagie and breakfast sandwich partner. The collaboration makes Wawa a sponsor for all four major Philadelphia professional sports franchises, following existing partnerships with the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.
To launch the partnership, Wawa and the 76ers scheduled a pep rally at the Penrose Avenue location on October 16. The event features a tour bus wrapped in specialty hoagie paper, a ceremonial hoagie build with team mascots Franklin and Wally Goose, and a check presentation to Philabundance.
