49ers GM John Lynch weighs in on Dre Greenlaw's suspension, reacts to the Seahawks' role in the sideline incident, and explains what comes next.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch spoke on KNBR about linebacker Dre Greenlaw's upheld one-game suspension. The NFL disciplined Greenlaw after he headbutted helmetless Seattle Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV on the sideline following a hit on quarterback Sam Darnold. The ruling sidelines Greenlaw for Monday night's game against the Washington Commanders.
Greenlaw appealed the suspension, but joint NFL-NFLPA hearing officer James Thrash upheld the decision. Lynch expressed frustration with how Seattle players surrounded Greenlaw, but stated the linebacker must learn to remove himself from volatile situations and practice better judgment.
