LIV Golf's lawyers claim the DP World Tour's stance on returning players represents "a clear attempt to interfere with our process" in terms of signing up players for 2.0

LIV Golf's legal team has accused the DP World Tour of deliberately attempting to interfere with signing players for its new 2.0 format. Speaking at a US bankruptcy court hearing, attorney Rob Fitzgerald raised anti-competitive concerns over comments made by DP World Tour boss Guy Kinnings, who stated players must choose between the circuits. Judge Michael B. Kaplan agreed that Kinnings' remarks raise valid concerns.
LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil faces an October 25 deadline to achieve player sign-ups needed to finalize an investment deal with BC Partners. While golfer Jon Rahm has ruled out participating in 2.0, other players such as Tyrrell Hatton and Tom McKibbin face difficult decisions ahead of the upcoming Ryder Cup.
