Hitting sixes might be cool. But tearing past a packed fielding setup to hit a four is no less than an art. It takes years of practice to score some fine boundaries. And a few batters scored many of them…

India's Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for the most fours hit across all international cricket formats combined, totaling over 4,076 boundaries in 782 innings. Former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batter Kumar Sangakkara ranks second with 3,015 fours, while India's Virat Kohli sits in third place with 2,798 boundaries across formats.
Tendulkar also holds the individual format records with 2,058 fours in Tests and 2,016 in ODIs. Among calendar-year records, Sri Lanka's Tillakaratne Dilshan leads all batters after hitting 318 boundaries in 2009, while Sangakkara is the only batter to hit over 300 fours in two separate years.
