Liverpool saw a €50m offer rejected, according to reports. Even the player himself said no to the Reds.
Liverpool reportedly had a €50m offer rejected for Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao during the transfer window. According to reports cited by TuttoMercatoWeb, both the Italian club and the Portugal international turned down the permanent transfer approach, with the player opting against moving to Anfield.
Alex Caple writes that Liverpool aggressively pursued a right winger during the summer market, noting that former sporting director Richard Hughes was willing to take major risks. Despite Liverpool's interest and financial capabilities, Conceicao remained in Turin, where he has since endured a difficult start to the campaign.
