The Boston Celtics conclude their preseason schedule against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The meeting marks the second preseason matchup between the two franchises, following Boston's 144-106 victory over Philadelphia on Wednesday. Celtics assistant coach Sam Cassell is expected to handle the head coaching duties for the contest as head coach Joe Mazzulla continues rotating sideline responsibilities among his coaching staff.
Boston enters the game with Devin Carter listed as a game-time decision due to an illness that sidelined him for the past two games. For Philadelphia, Ariel Hukporti is out after tearing his Achilles, while Adem Bona and Anfernee Simons remain sidelined. Prior to the game, the 76ers waived Duke Miles and Saint Thomas, signing Cris Carroll and Taye Fields to Exhibit 10 contracts.
