Hearts have lost one of their key players to another muscular issue ahead of their Celtic clash.

Hearts have suffered an injury blow ahead of their Scottish Premiership clash against Celtic, with Eduardo Ageu ruled out of Sunday's match. The player suffered a fresh muscle problem following a 5-0 victory over St Mirren. Manager Wouter Vrancken confirmed that the setback will keep Ageu sidelined for both the Celtic fixture and a Europa Conference League game against Nordsjælland.
Vrancken noted that while this issue differs from Ageu's previous pre-season muscle injury, the club will evaluate his recovery on a week-by-week basis to avoid rushing him back. Hearts currently sit third in the Premiership table, five points behind Celtic as they prepare to visit Celtic Park.
