The Chicago Bulls have been one of a few teams linked to the Los Angeles Lakers sharpshooter, Dalton Knecht, throughout the preseason. While there hasn’t been too much traction with those talks lately, there is some trade chatter heating up…

The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly engaged in exploratory trade discussions with the Los Angeles Lakers to acquire Dalton Knecht, a player previously linked to the Chicago Bulls. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer via The Stein Line, the proposed trade framework would send Knecht and second-round draft picks to Milwaukee in exchange for center Jericho Sims.
Justin Grasso notes that sources express pessimism about the trade crossing the finish line before Monday's roster deadline. If a deal fails to materialize, the Lakers could potentially waive Knecht to reduce their roster to 15 players, leaving the Bulls an opportunity to pursue him on the open market.
