Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage has urged his squad to balance energy with tactical intelligence ahead of their upcoming derby clash against Brighton. Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sage emphasized that fighting spirit alone will not guarantee victory and called for his players to replicate the strong performances shown during the second halves of their recent fixtures.
Sage also warned his team to disregard their recent positive record against Brighton, noting that past meetings count for nothing in football. Additionally, the Palace boss encouraged current starters who were previously substitutes against Brighton to use the fixture as motivation to prove themselves on Sunday.
