Denver Nuggets wing Julian Strawther will be sidelined for at least six weeks after an MRI revealed a left knee sprain. The 24-year-old sustained the injury during the third quarter of Wednesday's preseason contest against the Los Angeles Clippers when his leg twisted awkwardly beneath him.
Strawther is scheduled for reevaluation in late November. The injury interrupts an impressive preseason run where he averaged 13.2 points per game while competing for a key spot in head coach David Adelman's regular season rotation.
