Shohei Ohtani was shouting as he rounded the bases after his three-run home run in NLCS Game 4 against the Milwaukee Brewers. He gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a much-needed boost, helping the team secure a 4-0 lead.
MLB analyst Fabian Ardaya stated that the Los Angeles Dodgers must re-evaluate their two-way plans for Shohei Ohtani following the team's NLCS sweep against the Milwaukee Brewers. Ardaya argued that Ohtani struggled and was not the same player this season, suggesting the Dodgers reconsider how they manage his pitching and hitting workload.
The Brewers defeated the Dodgers 6-4 in Game 4 to eliminate Los Angeles. Ohtani dealt with knee inflammation, neck, and bicep issues before being shut down from pitching in July. The Dodgers and Ohtani will evaluate whether he needs surgery during the offseason.
