How the heck long have I been doing this anyway? It doesn’t matter; the mad-kitchen scientist is back for another season of recipes to make your Buffalo Bills game days even more memorable. For those of you new to this…

Buffalo Rumblings writer Skarekrow has created a pirate-themed "Buffalo Hardtack" recipe for Buffalo Bills fans ahead of their Week 6 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Inspired by the long shelf life of traditional survival rations, the recipe adds hot sauce, honey, and savory spices to flour and water to make a durable tailgating snack.
The preparation involves rolling the seasoned dough to a quarter-inch thickness, cutting it into squares, and baking it at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately three hours. Skarekrow notes that because the biscuits remain extremely dense and hard, they are intended to be soaked and served with liquid such as soup.
