Former NBA player Michael Beasley knocked out Delonte West in a heavyweight boxing bout at Brand Risk 16 in Miami, Florida. Beasley, who held a significant height and reach advantage over the former point guard, earned a first-round TKO after West failed to beat the referee's 10-count.
West charged forward early with punches but fell backward to the canvas after taking several short shots from Beasley. The event marked Beasley's second appearance in Adin Ross' fight promotion, following a previous MMA bout against Lance Stephenson in May.
