The Philadelphia Eagles are signing quarterback Joe Milton from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad to their 53-man active roster. The move comes after Eagles starting quarterback Jalen Hurts was ruled out indefinitely due to a superficial blood clot ahead of their game against the Carolina Panthers.
Milton, who impressed during the preseason, cleared waivers before joining Dallas' practice squad after missing their initial 53-man roster. The roster acquisition occurs just ahead of an upcoming matchup between Dallas and Philadelphia.
