Chelsea star Emiliano Martinez was forced off during the Everton game after a head collision.

Chelsea goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was stretchered off and taken to the hospital following a head injury against Everton. The 34-year-old was reportedly knocked out cold after colliding with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite while attempting to punch clear a free kick. Martinez offered a thumbs-up to supporters as medical personnel carried him off the field after several minutes of treatment.
Goalkeeper Mike Penders came on for his Premier League debut to replace Martinez, becoming Chelsea's youngest league goalkeeper. Chelsea went on to win the match 2-0 behind two goals from Pedro Neto, securing the club's first clean sheet in nearly 10 months.
