Argentine was conscious as he left the Hill Dickinson Stadium

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso confirmed goalkeeper Emi Martinez was taken to the hospital for precautionary checks after suffering a head injury. Martinez was stretchered off in the second half of Chelsea's victory against Everton following a heavy collision with Jarrad Branthwaite.
Alonso stated Martinez left the Hill Dickinson Stadium conscious before undergoing tests. Pedro Neto scored twice in the win, while substitute goalkeeper Mike Penders helped secure Chelsea's first clean sheet since mid-January.
