The Jacksonville Jaguars have a productive player in Travis Hunter, who's giving them ample bang for their buck despite not playing wide receiver.

Carlos Sanchez of Black and Teal argues that Travis Hunter provides strong value for the Jacksonville Jaguars despite barely playing wide receiver in 2026. Hunter has established himself as a premier cornerback on Jacksonville's defense, surrendering zero touchdowns on 22 targets through five games while holding opposing passers to a 25.0 percent completion rate in man coverage.
Addressing analyst Brett Kollman's evaluation of the trade assets used to draft Hunter second overall in 2025, Sanchez contends the move was fully justified. Sanchez argues that securing a franchise cornerstone at a premium defensive position validates the cost, even if Hunter does not play receiver full-time.
