After 5 games, special teams have been a huge disappointment across the board for Los Angeles Rams fans.

Bret Stuter argues that resolving the Los Angeles Rams' special teams issues requires broader changes beyond simply swapping out kickers. After releasing Harrison Mevis following five games and previously struggling with Joshua Karty, the Rams face deeper systemic problems across their units. Stuter highlights poor protection schemes, such as Greg Rousseau's blocked kick for the Buffalo Bills, as well as holding and punting deficiencies.
The piece points to punter and holder Ethan Evans, who ranks 30th in net average, as a major concern. While the Rams have brought in cornerback Damarion Williams and kicker Blake Grupe to improve coverage and kicking, Stuter writes that coordinator Bubba Ventrone remains under pressure, with general manager Les Snead potentially preparing further roster adjustments.
